About

Zed Agent is the AI agent in Zed, a multiplayer code editor written by the makers of Atom and Tree-sitter. You describe a task and the agent finds context, edits files and runs tools, while you follow it in real time and review its work in an editable diff before accepting or rejecting. You can use Zed-hosted models, your own API keys, or external agents such as Claude Agent, Codex or OpenCode through ACP, and connect MCP servers.
