About

Letta, formerly MemGPT, builds agents that keep memory and identity across sessions and learn from experience. The current source lives in the letta-code repository, which holds the agent harness, a terminal UI, an App Server and channel integrations, while the older V1 API server is archived. It can be installed from npm, used through a web app or Slack, Telegram and Discord channels, or embedded in TypeScript apps with the Letta Agent SDK. Agents can run on Letta Cloud or on a self-hosted App Server.
