About

The OpenHands Software Agent SDK provides Python, TypeScript and REST APIs for building agents that work with code. Agents can use the local machine as their workspace or run in ephemeral Docker or Kubernetes workspaces through the Agent Server. A Conversation object takes messages and runs an agent that has terminal, file editing and task tracking tools. The SDK is the engine behind the OpenHands CLI and OpenHands Cloud, and the repository includes a browser-compatible TypeScript client.
