LightRAG is a retrieval-augmented generation project from the HKU Data Intelligence Lab, published as the lightrag-hku Python package. Recent releases added OpenSearch as a unified storage backend, four selectable text chunking strategies, role-specific LLM configuration, and multimodal parsing through MinerU or Docling. The README lists these as new features.
