# AI PDF Guide Business System

An autonomous system that creates and sells AI-generated PDF guides on trending topics, integrated with existing content repurposing and outreach systems to generate passive income.

## Overview

This system creates a fully autonomous PDF guide generation and sales business that:
1. Monitors trending topics from YouTube and content repurposing output
2. Uses AI to generate valuable PDF guide outlines on those topics
3. Converts guides to professional PDF format
4. Sells guides via Stripe payment processing
5. Delivers PDFs automatically after purchase
6. Promotes guides through existing outreach sequences as upsells
7. Runs 24/7 on cron jobs with minimal human intervention

## System Components

### 1. PDF Guide Generator (`pdf_guide_generator.py`)
- Finds trending topics from YouTube monitoring and content repurposer output
- Generates AI-powered guide outlines using Claude AI (or similar)
- Creates guide files (txt format, convertible to PDF via ReportLab, WeasyPrint, or Canva API)
- Registers guides in metadata system
- Integrates with existing Stripe payment system

### 2. Professional Website (`/website/`)
- Modern, responsive HTML/CSS/JS site for showcasing and selling guides
- Includes FAQ, testimonials, and clear purchase flow
- Ready for deployment to Netlify/Vercel or custom domain
- Integrates with Stripe for secure payments

### 3. Business Integrator (`integrator.py`)
- Connects PDF generator with existing content repurposer system
- Uses processed YouTube videos for topic ideas
- Adds PDF upsell sequences to outreach templates
- Ensures seamless operation between systems

### 4. Autonomous Cron Job
- `gideon_pdf_guide_generator` runs every 6 hours
- Creates 2 new PDF guides per run from trending topics
- Integrated with existing business systems

## Revenue Model

## Setup and Deployment

### Prerequisites
- Working Hermes Agent installation with access to:
  - content repurposer system
  - autonomous prospector
  - automated outreach
  - response notifier
  - Stripe integration (test or live)
- Python 3.9+
- Internet access

### Installation Steps

1. **Create Directory Structure**:
   ```bash
   mkdir -p /Users/pharma6/gideon_ai_business/pdf_guide_system/{src,templates,assets,output}
   mkdir -p /Users/pharma6/gideon_ai_business/website/{assets/css,js}
   ```

2. **Install PDF Guide Generator**:
   - Copy `pdf_guide_generator.py` to `pdf_guide_system/src/`
   - Make executable: `chmod +x pdf_guide_system/src/pdf_guide_generator.py`

3. **Install Website Files**:
   - Copy `index.html` to `website/`
   - Copy `style.css` to `website/css/`
   - Copy `main.js` to `website/js/`

4. **Install Integrator**:
   - Copy `integrator.py` to `pdf_guide_system/src/`

5. **Install Website Server** (optional, for local testing):
   - Copy `serve_website.py` to `gideon_ai_business/`

6. **Create Cron Job**:
   ```bash
   hermes cron create "every 6h" --name "gideon_pdf_guide_generator" \

### Configuration

#### Stripe Integration
The system uses your existing Stripe integration in `stripe_integration.py`. To go live:
1. Obtain live keys from dashboard.stripe.com
2. Update `/Users/pharma6/gideon_ai_business/stripe_integration.py`:
   ```python
   STRIPE_SECRET_KEY = "sk_live_YOUR_ACTUAL_KEY"
   STRIPE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY = "pk_live_YOUR_ACTUAL_KEY"
   ```
3. Save file securely - keys never leave your machine

#### PDF Conversion
The generator now emits both `.txt` source files and dependency-free `.pdf` artifacts automatically via `create_basic_pdf_from_text()`, so cron runs produce sellable PDF files even when third-party PDF libraries are unavailable.

For more professional design output, optionally add one of these:
- **Canva API** (if you have access)
- **ReportLab** (Python library; on Homebrew-managed Python, use a virtualenv instead of direct `pip install`)
- **WeasyPrint** (HTML-to-PDF; on Homebrew-managed Python, use a virtualenv instead of direct `pip install`)
