Need help deploying jira?
Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.
Install
Works with Claude Code, Claude apps, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, OpenCode, Goose, Windsurf. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.
npx agentmarket install skill/takopod-jira
Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

Use your `mcp__jira__*` tools to interact with Jira. ## Default fields Read `defaults.json` in this skill directory for the default `fields` parameter to use with `jira_search` and `jira_get_issue`. Always use these defaults unless the user explicitly requests different fields. The `url` field must always be included — it provides the link to each issue. ## Available operations - **Issues**: create, update, transition, comment, assign, link - **Search**: query with JQL, filter by project/status/assignee - **Projects**: list, get details, list issue types - **Sprints/boards**: list sprints, get board contents ## Usage guidance - Use JQL for complex queries rather than chaining multiple list calls (e.g., `project = FOO AND status = "In Progress" AND assignee = currentUser()`) - Always include the project key in issue references (e.g., `PROJ-123`, not just `123`) - When creating issues, ask for or infer: project, issue type, summary, and description at minimum - Check existing issues before creating duplicates — search by summary keywords first - When transitioning issues, verify available transitions first — not all workflows allow direct jumps between statuses
