What is in a Chalk Labs AI SEO proposal
A Chalk Labs AI SEO proposal puts evidence before promises. It shows where your brand appears in Google and AI answers today, what your buyers ask, what we would change and a three-month plan. It ends with three plans: Strategic Consulting at $1,000 one-time, Strategic Execution at $3,000 a month, and Deep Execution at $4,000 a month. We do not guarantee rankings or citations.
- Every finding says how we know: Checked live, AI research or Example. Nothing is dressed up as a measurement.
- The plan runs three months: research and build, optimise, then rewrite and scale. On the monthly plans you can stop at the end of any month.
- Three plans: a one-time strategy your team runs, or two monthly plans where we do the work, with 100 or 200 answer pages.
- The proposal generator is free, and you can use the template yourself.
Four ideas behind every proposal
The layout looks simple on purpose. These four ideas explain why it is built the way it is.
- Evidence before promises.
A proposal that opens with a price asks you to trust us. One that opens with what we found lets you check us. So the findings come first, and the plan follows from them.
- Real checks, not estimates.
Where we can check something ourselves, such as whether AI crawlers may read your site, we do, and we mark it Checked live. Where we cannot, we say so. We do not fill gaps with made-up numbers.
- The page layer turns authority into traffic.
A site can earn links, press and reviews and still get few visits, because no page is built for the questions buyers ask. Pages that each answer one question are the missing layer, and the plan builds them.
- The plan is month by month.
Each month has one deliverable and builds on the last. You see what was done, what moved and what we change next. You can stop at the end of any month.
The sections, one by one
Here is each part of the proposal, what it shows and why it is there.
Cover and executive summary
What it shows. Who the proposal is for, who wrote it, the date, and a short summary of the main finding and the plan.
Why it is there. Busy readers decide in a minute. The cover also says plainly whether the document is an AI draft, a scan-based draft or a template.
Where you stand today
What it shows. Findings on how your site and brand appear now, each marked Good, Gap or Unknown, plus spot-checks of what AI assistants answer to buyer-style questions.
Why it is there. This is the evidence. It shows what works, what is missing and what we could not check, so the plan aims at real gaps.
What your buyers ask
What it shows. Sample buyer questions, the related searches an AI assistant may run behind each one, and the groups of pages we would build.
Why it is there. Buyers ask whole questions, and AI tools turn each one into several searches. Every one of those searches is a page you can build.
What changes after this engagement
What it shows. The aim, in four measures: pages, visibility in AI answers, search clicks and enquiries.
Why it is there. A plan needs a way to tell if it is working. We report each measure every month, whether it is up or down.
What we are solving for
What it shows. The specific problems the findings point to, in plain words.
Why it is there. It connects the evidence to the work, so you can see why each part of the plan is there.
How AI search works
What it shows. Six steps from a buyer's question to a cited answer, including query fan-out, retrieval and citation.
Why it is there. You should understand the method you are paying for. It also explains why the pages we build look the way they do. Google describes fan-out in its own documentation.1
The first pages we would build
What it shows. A starter list of page titles, the question each one targets and its type, such as definition, how-to or comparison.
Why it is there. It makes the plan concrete. You see what Month 1 would produce before you commit.
Engagement structure and terms
What it shows. The three months in order, with payment and stop terms.
Why it is there. So there are no surprises about scope, billing or how to leave.
Package options
What it shows. The three plans, their prices and what each includes.
Why it is there. Teams differ. Some have writers and want direction. Others want the pages done for them.
Next steps and signature
What it shows. Three steps to start, a signature from Rahil, the date and a short note on what we do not promise.
Why it is there. It says what happens next and states plainly that results are not guaranteed.
See a filled-in example
The template shows the full layout with placeholders and example findings. Every example is labelled, so you never mistake one for a real reading. You can read it on the site, download it as a PDF, or print it.
Packages and prices
The plans differ in who does the work, and how much of it. Strategic Consulting gives you the audit and the plan for a one-time fee, and your team runs it. Strategic Execution adds the work itself, done for you each month. Deep Execution is the same work at a larger scale.

The terms, in plain words
These are the same terms that appear in every proposal. We would rather you read them now than discover them later.
- Strategic Consulting is a one-time fee. Strategic Execution and Deep Execution run as a three-month programme with monthly pre-payment; each month has a clear deliverable and builds on the last.
- On the monthly plans, you can pause or stop at the end of any month with no further pre-payment owed.
- Pricing is in USD. Currency conversion and local taxes are the client's responsibility.
- We commit to the work and report every result. We do not guarantee rankings, citations or lead counts, because search engines and AI models are third parties.
How the free generator works
Enter your company name and website. You can also add your industry, region, a contact name and your goal, but you do not have to. Then the proposal generator does three things.
- It reads your public website. It fetches your home page, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap, and notes your titles, headings, structured data and whether AI crawlers are allowed in.
- It researches your market. An AI model looks at public sources for your category, likely buyer questions and competitors. If that is not available, the proposal says so and uses the live scan alone.
- It lays out the proposal. You get the same layout as the template, which you can read on the page and save as a PDF.
What the labels mean
What it can see
- Your public pages, robots.txt, llms.txt and sitemap
- Titles, headings and structured data
- Public information about your market and competitors
What it cannot see
- Your analytics or Search Console data
- Traffic and backlink data from paid tools
- Private or logged-in pages
- Every AI answer. A spot-check says Not checked when we could not run it.
Frequently asked questions
What does an AI SEO proposal cost?
The proposal is free, whether you use the generator or book a call. The work is priced in US dollars: Strategic Consulting at $1,000 one-time, Strategic Execution at $3,000 a month, and Deep Execution at $4,000 a month. On the monthly plans, each month is paid in advance and you can stop at the end of any month.
Do you guarantee rankings or AI citations?
No. We do not guarantee rankings, citations or lead counts. Search engines and AI models are run by third parties and change often. We commit to the work, show our checks and report every result, including the ones that go the wrong way.
Who writes the proposal?
The free generator drafts it from your public website and AI research, and the cover says so. A proposal that Chalk Labs sends you is reviewed by Rahil Jain before it goes out. He is the founder and runs Chalk Labs' AI SEO programme.
How long does it take?
The generator returns a draft on the page while you wait. You can talk it through with Rahil on a 30-minute call. The programme itself runs three months. Results depend on your market, your competition and where you start, so we do not promise a date for the first one.
Can I use the template myself?
Yes. Download the PDF or print the template page, replace the bracketed text with your own and delete the Example rows. We ask that you only include findings you have checked yourself.
What do you need from me?
For the free draft, only your company name and website. To go ahead, we ask for a kickoff call and, if you have them, read-only access to Google Search Console and analytics, a list of your main competitors, and someone who can check that the pages are factually right. None of this is needed to read a proposal.
