AI Prompt List Builder
Tracking AI visibility starts with a fixed list of prompts. Enter your brand, what you sell and who you compete with. Get 30 to 50 prompts and a CSV sheet to log the answers.
How it works
- Enter your brand, what you sell, who it is for, your competitors and the problems you solve. Add a place if you serve a local market.
- The tool fills fixed templates for six prompt types: discovery, problem, comparison, branded, buying and local. Nothing is sent to a server.
- Copy the list, or download the CSV. It has columns to log which engine you used, whether your brand was named or cited, what else was named and which sources appeared.
- Run every prompt in a fresh chat on each assistant you care about, on the same day each month. Answers can change from one run to the next, so repeat each prompt a few times before you read anything into one result.
What it cannot tell you
- These are template prompts, not a record of what your buyers type. Replace or add prompts from sales calls, support tickets and search data.
- The tool does not run the prompts or check the answers for you. It builds the list and the sheet; you or a tracking tool run them.
- A prompt list measures visibility in the sample you chose. It does not measure total traffic or leads. Pair it with analytics.
- Wording is tuned for English prompts. Adapt the templates for other languages.
Questions
How many prompts should I track?
Start with 30 to 60 across the types. That is enough to see patterns and small enough to run by hand each month. Add more once you know which ones matter.
Why include branded prompts?
They show what AI assistants say about your name: whether the facts are right, and which competitors appear next to you. Wrong answers are often the first thing worth fixing.
Why run each prompt more than once?
AI answers can differ between runs, so a single answer can mislead. Running each prompt several times, and noting how often you appear, gives a steadier picture.
Can I use this with a paid tracking tool?
Yes. Most tracking tools ask you to supply the prompts to monitor. This list is a starting point you can paste in.
Is my data stored?
No. The list is built in your browser, and nothing you type is sent or saved.
